Happy Friday, everyone! What are your plans for the weekend? Mine consist of spending a lot of time in the kitchen experimenting with recipes, and washing a lot of dishes as a result. 😉 I’m super excited about it (the baking and cooking that is, not the dishes) and looking forward to bringing you all some new recipes soon. 😀
With that said, let’s get to today’s recipe: Healthier Copycat Panda Express Chow Mein. (Genius, right?)
When Casey and I first got married, we ate fast food a lot more than we do now (yeah, it wasn’t really a good thing). Panda Express in particular was one of our preferred things to grab on the way home from work after a long week. I was hooked on their chow mein and wanted to order it every time.
Oh, and their orange chicken. I need to try making that at home too. 🙂
So, when I came across this healthier copycat version of Panda Express’s chow mein, I couldn’t resist giving it a try.
Yay! So tasty. I added chicken on the side for some protein.
